support towards a church opened at Kwania government Prison to help in reforming prisoners to fight crime
This was during a welcome function held yesterday organized by Oyima Alwaa clan and the church.
Pastor Bonny Ajungu the pastor of Atuma-Deliverance Church said his imprisonment came after he bought a smart Phone reportedly stolen by his cousin at Atuma Primary school.
He said his cousin fled during investigations and he was tried and imprisoned.
Ajungu called for support towards a church opened at Kwania government Prison to help in reforming prisoners to fight crime.
Robert Okello Chief Warder Grade I, in charge religious Affairs at Kwania government Prison said it takes a lot of effort to reform the life of prisoners in a bid to curb drime.
Pastor Remmy Achilla of Deliverance Church Lira City in his sermon said trials are part of everyone’s life and people should learn to live through trials during their lifetime.
Christopher Ebong Kibol the clan head of Oyima Alwa and David Omara the clan head of Oyena-tum warned the public against buying second hand items without their proof of ownership.
