256Heart.com, a dating platform launched by 256 AI Systems, is positioning itself as a Ugandan relationship service built around privacy, profile checks and broader match options.

The platform says it is targeting gaps in existing dating channels, including WhatsApp groups, Facebook pages and informal referrals, where users may face small social circles, limited identity checks and risks of scams or public exposure.

Unlike dating apps that rely heavily on public profiles and swiping, 256Heart.com says members can control who sees their photos and personal information. The platform also says matches are based on shared values, interests, lifestyle, personality and long-term goals, in addition to photographs.

A user who identified herself only as Beatrice said the platform had made it easier to choose people to connect with.

“Here you can view the profile of the people who have signed up and make friends with. You can now have a strong connection through conversations and later on a meaningful date,” she said.

The platform has four membership tiers. The Starter tier is permanently free and allows users to create a profile, browse and message. The Gold tier includes enhanced visibility, advanced filters, encrypted chats and disappearing messages. According to the platform, Gold is currently free with the code GOLD100.

The VIP tier adds silent browsing, screenshot protection and concierge support, and is being offered free for six months with the code VIP100. The Stealth tier keeps members hidden under a 256-H Code identity, with others required to pass ID verification and sign a non-disclosure agreement before contact. It is currently free with the code STEALTH100.

256Heart.com says it is built for Ugandans in the country and abroad, while also welcoming internationals seeking Ugandan partners. The platform says users in Kampala, Gulu and Mbarara can match with people in cities such as New York, London, Toronto and Dubai.

Amos Olwo, a Ugandan living in Canada, said he had used the platform for two weeks.

“I have liked the way it is designed, easy to login and the connection is so quick. I have joined two weeks ago but more than 200 people have so far viewed my profile and some have already in boxed me,” he said.

Queen Dorothy Amolo, the founder of 256 AI System, said 256Heart.com prioritises privacy and confidentiality.

“There are some who want to keep their life private including their date and here Stealth mode has solved that problem lol,” she said during the unveiling of 256 AI System last week.

The platform says its launch promotions are intended to remove cost barriers while promoting a more private and secure environment for people seeking relationships.
