Pallisa NRM Publicist David Apua Kedi Weds Sylvia Kanyunyuzi in Colourful Kampala Ceremony

What the report says
David Apua Kedi, identified by Dokolo Post as a Pallisa NRM publicist from Akisim Sub County, and Sylvia Kanyunyuzi of Kyenjojo District were married on Saturday in a ceremony at Watoto Church in Bweyogerere, Kampala. The church service was led by Pastor Dorah Wataba, who prayed for the couple and encouraged them to keep Christ at the center of their marriage.
The wedding drew relatives, friends, and a number of NRM figures and political leaders. The chief guest was Ambassador Barbara Nekesa Oundo, who congratulated the couple and urged them to focus on building their family and to seek guidance from church leaders if marital challenges arise. Other attendees and representatives included Vice Chairman NRM Eastern Region David Calvin Echodu’s delegate, Nimrod Also, and Derrick Orone, the MP for Gogonyo County and chairperson of NRM in Pallisa.
According to the report, Orone told the couple that marriage can strengthen confidence between partners and said they should involve elders and friends when disagreements cannot be avoided. After the church service, the celebration moved to Silver Springs Hotel in Bugolobi for a reception attended by guests from Pallisa, Kyenjojo, and other invited friends and relatives.
The event was presented as a social and political gathering as well as a family celebration, reflecting the couple’s links to NRM circles in eastern Uganda and the attendance of local leaders and supporters.
