Al Jazeera reported that hundreds of mourners gathered on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Washington National Cathedral in Washington, DC, for the funeral of late US Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. Graham, a Republican and close ally of US President Donald Trump, died unexpectedly on July 11, according to the report.

Trump attended the service alongside Vice President JD Vance, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Eric Trump and Lara Trump.
