Bleacher Report said Dallas Wings guard Azzi Fudd won the 2026 WNBA 3-Point Contest on Friday night during All-Star Weekend at Wintrust Arena. The outlet reported that Fudd, the No. 1 pick in the 2026 WNBA draft, became both the first rookie and the first Wings player to take the event title.

Fudd secured the win by beating Portland Fire forward Bridget Carleton in the final round. According to Bleacher Report, Fudd scored 30 points in the final after making her first six attempts, while Carleton finished the round with 19. The finalists had advanced from the opening round after Carleton led the field with 27 points and Fudd followed with 24.

The full first-round scoring, as reported by Bleacher Report, was Carleton with 27, Fudd with 24, Rhyne Howard with 20, Janelle Salaün with 19, Marina Mabrey with 18 and Natisha Hiedeman with 17. Fudd reportedly needed at least 17 points during her first-round turn to stay alive and closed strongly, making six of her last eight shots.

Bleacher Report also noted that Fudd has had a strong rookie season for Dallas, averaging 13.2 points, 1.9 assists and 1.7 steals while shooting 45.7% overall and 38.7% on three-pointers. The report said she had made 53 threes on the season, the highest total among rookies, adding further context to her All-Star Weekend shooting title.
