US strikes hit Iran for seventh consecutive night

Iran’s deputy foreign minister said Tehran had suspended its obligations after what it called US aggression, while Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei accused Washington of breaking its commitments.

The conflict is affecting a strategically vital area. Iran has declared the Strait of Hormuz closed, while the US has reimposed a blockade of Iranian ports. The strait is a major route for global oil and liquefied natural gas shipments, making any prolonged disruption significant for regional security and energy markets.
