The Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited has launched a Shs16 billion project to upgrade the Nkenda–Ishaka distribution network, aiming to reduce persistent power outages, improve electricity reliability and boost power evacuation capacity across Kasese, Rubirizi and Bushenyi districts.
