Tawakkal Travels pilgrims urged to promote unity, good conduct after Hajj

What the report says
Prince Kasim Nakibinge has urged Ugandan pilgrims returning from Hajj and Umrah with Tawakkal Travels to carry the lessons of the pilgrimage into daily life by showing good conduct, unity and service in their communities. According to Nile Post, the appeal was made at a homecoming ceremony held at KCCA grounds over the weekend, where pilgrims, families and Muslim leaders gathered under the theme of brotherhood and continued guidance after the spiritual journey.
Nakibinge told the pilgrims to be examples of integrity and trustworthiness, and he also praised efforts to bring Muslim groups together under the Federation of Hajj Affairs. He called on government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to continue recognising the federation as the body coordinating Hajj affairs in Uganda. He said leadership within the organisation should follow its established electoral process.
Other speakers echoed the message of unity and self-reliance. Imam Iddi Kasozi said Muslim leaders should strengthen brotherhood and work toward peaceful coexistence. Sheikh Zakaria Kyewalyanga, chair of the Uganda Bureau of Hajj Affairs, thanked Tawakkal Travels for its services to pilgrims and asked President Yoweri Museveni to increase Uganda’s Hajj quota. The event ended with certificate presentations for pilgrims and a recognition award for Nakibinge, underscoring the ceremony’s focus on discipline, guidance and community responsibility.
