The field also includes golfers from several countries across Africa and beyond, including Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Nigeria, England, South Africa, Botswana and Eswatini. The tournament’s prize fund is reported at Sh78 million.

The Independent Uganda said the event is sponsored by Exim Bank, Vivo Energy and the Uganda Tourism Board.
