What the report says

IGN reported that preorders are now open for Hasbro’s new The Legend of Zelda: Heroes of Hyrule figures, a collectible lineup featuring Link, Princess Zelda and Ganondorf. According to the article, the figures are scheduled for release on May 1 next year and are currently listed at select retailers, including Amazon and Walmart. IGN noted that it may earn an affiliate commission from purchases made through its links.

The figures are based on 2023’s The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom rather than the planned live-action Zelda film. IGN listed Link and Zelda at $27.99 each, with Walmart showing them at $27.97. Ganondorf is priced higher at $42.99, or $42.97 at Walmart. The article advised interested buyers that the items could sell out, though availability may vary by retailer.

IGN described Link and Zelda as 6-inch-scale figures. Link includes the Hylian Shield, the Master Sword and an interchangeable Zonai power hand, while Zelda comes with the Decayed Master Sword and an alternate right hand. Ganondorf is listed at more than 7.5 inches tall and includes the Gloom Sword, a scabbard and an interchangeable right hand. All three figures reportedly have more than 20 points of articulation.

The release adds another major licensed Nintendo property to Hasbro’s collector-focused figure offerings. For Zelda fans, it also extends the merchandise cycle around Tears of the Kingdom, one of Nintendo’s most prominent Switch-era releases, while arriving ahead of broader public attention expected around the franchise’s future film adaptation.
