Play More Ubisoft Games on PC: New Content Now Available for XBOX on PC, Plus Free PC Redemption - XBOX Wire

Xbox Wire reported on July 27, 2026, that Microsoft’s Xbox and Ubisoft are expanding their PC partnership with two changes available starting the same day. The update adds premium editions and selected add-on content for a wider range of Ubisoft games in the Xbox PC app, while also giving eligible Xbox console owners access to PC versions of certain digital Ubisoft titles at no extra charge.

According to the Xbox.com post by Joe Skrebels, the added PC app content includes major Ubisoft releases and franchises such as Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Star Wars Outlaws, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Skull and Bones, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Far Cry, The Crew and Watch Dogs. Separately, players who own digital Xbox console copies of select games can access the PC version through Ubisoft Connect. The eligible list includes Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Far Cry 6, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Riders Republic, The Crew 2, The Crew Motorfest, Rainbow Six Extraction, Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs Legion, among others.

Xbox Wire said new digital purchases of the listed games will include both the Xbox console and Xbox on PC versions. Existing digital Xbox owners are set to receive PC access through a gradual rollout running until August 4, and users are advised to update Ubisoft Connect to see the titles in their libraries.

The offer applies only from console ownership to PC access, not the reverse. Xbox Wire also said most owned editions and DLC should transfer to PC, but consumables such as in-game currency or one-time-use items are excluded, with exact entitlements shown in Ubisoft Connect.
