Malawi: Lands Minister Chipungu Calls for More Multi-Storey Developments in Lilongwe

He also used the site visit to encourage more multi-storey buildings in Lilongwe, arguing that taller developments can make better use of scarce urban land as demand rises. The minister said the government, through his ministry, is committed to supporting investments that create opportunities and support economic growth.

The visit also included discussion of transport arrangements for guests traveling to and from the hotel site, with officials looking at ways to make access more convenient.
