Lwengo Leaders Urge PLE Candidates to Embrace Discipline and Religious Values

What the report says
Religious, education and district leaders in Lwengo District have appealed to Primary Seven pupils preparing for the Primary Leaving Examinations to stay disciplined, avoid distractions and keep their attention on revision. The message was delivered during prayers for candidates at Kyazanga Modern Primary School, where leaders said good conduct and religious values can help learners stay focused as they approach their final exams.
According to Nile Post, the call was led by Fr Mbaga Tuzinde of Kyazanga Parish, who urged parents to give children strong moral and faith-based guidance at home. He said proper upbringing plays an important role in helping young people become responsible members of society and in supporting their educational ambitions. The candidates were also encouraged to behave responsibly and keep away from activities that could interfere with their studies.
Lwengo District Khadi Hajji Ismail Kibule and District Chairperson Kizito Abasi also addressed the pupils and parents, while education officials Richard Sekitoleko and Julius Byaruhanga, headteacher of Singiro Primary School, asked families to continue supervising children after school hours. They said teachers had already done their part and that parents should reinforce revision and monitor behaviour. The leaders said closer cooperation among homes, schools and religious institutions could improve exam performance and help shape responsible future citizens.
