Liberia: Govt Debt Burden Drops to 54 Percent, Set for Further Decline

[Liberian Observer] Liberia's public debt-to-GDP ratio has declined from 56.1 percent in 2024 to 54 percent in 2025 and is projected to fall further to 49.6 percent in 2026, Finance and Development Planning Minister Augustine Kpehe Ngafuan have disclosed, citing improving macroeconomic and fiscal conditions under the Government's ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID).
