Kevin Lyttle, Robbo Ranx land in Uganda ahead of Serendipity Summer Splash

International dancehall and soca artist Kevin Lyttle and UK dancehall DJ Robbo Ranx have arrived in Kampala, Uganda, ahead of the Serendipity Summer Splash Street Party, according to Sqoop Uganda. The event is set for Sunday, September 13, and is planned as a day-to-night outdoor celebration at the Guvnor Streetside industrial area.
Sqoop Uganda reported that Lyttle, whose global hit "Turn Me On" made him widely known, said he was excited to return to Kampala and is expected to perform for local and regional fans. Robbo Ranx, described by the outlet as a UK-based reggae and dancehall DJ and a three-time Sony Radio Award winner, is also billed to appear, bringing a mix of dancehall and reggae to the party.
The programme is scheduled to start at 3pm and continue into the evening. The line-up includes several Ugandan DJs and performers, among them Selector Jay, Slick Stuart, DJ Roja, DJ Jose, DJ Lito, Etania, DJ Vee, Mysterious 2, Izzy da Business, Evelyne Mic, Morgan Mc and Vianna Indie.
Sqoop Uganda said organisers are positioning the show as a blend of Caribbean and Ugandan music and nightlife culture. Tickets are available through Quicket Uganda, with further table bookings and event information directed through official contacts.
