Kenya: Zoho Brings Trusted Business Intelligence to Ai Agents With Major Zoho Analytics Platform Update

What the report says
Zoho has announced a major update to Zoho Analytics, its business intelligence platform, adding what it calls Agentic Analytics capabilities. The company said the changes are designed to link business data, organisational context, insights and actions so AI tools can better understand how a company operates and support decisions and workflows. The announcement was reported by Capital FM in Nairobi and carried by AllAfrica on 28 October 2026.
At the centre of the update is Ask Zia, Zoho’s conversational analytics assistant, which now uses a multi-agent structure to handle tasks such as analysis, visualisation, data preparation, modelling, coding and workflow actions. Zoho said the platform also uses semantic and ontology layers to standardise business terms, metrics and relationships across an organisation, aiming to make AI-generated responses more relevant and governed.
The company said the platform is expanding connectivity with more than 30 new data connectors, alongside existing integrations, including links to Zoho products and outside services such as SAP, PayPal and Twilio. It also added tools for custom agents, workflow triggers, embedded analytics and AI observability for administrators. Zoho said the system is used by 100,000 businesses worldwide and is available across cloud, on-premises and hybrid deployments.
More broadly, the update reflects a wider shift in business software toward AI systems that can move from answering questions to helping execute tasks. Zoho said future development will focus on richer business context, decision intelligence and more open interoperability.
