One major takeaway was what Cyclingnews described as a different side of Pogačar. The article highlighted his visible stare toward Nicolas Prodhomme on stage 20 and, more importantly, his repeated work for teammate Isaac del Toro, including in the mountains while wearing the yellow jersey. Cyclingnews argued that Pogačar’s willingness to ride in support of another rider complicated the usual “cannibal” comparisons while also underlining how much control he had over the race.

The analysis also focused on Remco Evenepoel, who finished second overall, nearly 6:30 behind Pogačar.
