What the report says

Fox News reported that former Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore and his wife, Kelli Moore, have put their Ann Arbor, Michigan, home on the market for $1.7 million. Citing Realtor.com and The Detroit News, Fox said the Walnut Ridge Drive property is about 15 minutes from the University of Michigan and includes five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and roughly a half-acre lot. The home was previously sold for $1.3 million in 2023.

The listing follows Moore’s firing from the Wolverines program after Michigan officials learned of his relationship with an executive assistant, according to Fox. Moore had been on Jim Harbaugh’s staff as offensive coordinator and offensive line coach, later moving into the head coaching role after Harbaugh left for the NFL’s Los Angeles Chargers following Michigan’s national championship season.

Fox reported that Moore later pleaded no contest to two misdemeanors connected to his conduct after the firing and was sentenced in April to 18 months of probation, avoiding jail time. The report said he was ordered to pay a little more than $1,000 in fines, continue mental health treatment, avoid alcohol, marijuana and weapons, and have no contact with the alleged victim.

The case has drawn attention because of Moore’s rapid rise within one of college football’s highest-profile programs and the abrupt end to his tenure. Fox said he finished 16-8 as Michigan’s head coach, including missed games tied to a suspension from a sign-stealing investigation. Where the Moore family may relocate was not reported.
