Veteran Nigerian singer John “Daddy Showkey” Asiemo has publicly criticized the long-running dispute involving P-Square members Peter and Paul Okoye and their elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye. In a viral interview with Goldmyne TV, he said the feud has damaged what he described as one of Africa’s biggest music brands and urged the family to stop attacking one another.

According to Premium Times, the comments came amid a fresh round of public accusations between the brothers. Peter, also known as Mr P, recently posted videos laying out his account of the group’s history, financial arrangements and the reasons behind repeated breakups. Daddy Showkey argued that the brothers should focus on their children and future rather than prolonging the conflict.

He also said he had faced a similar situation in his own life and chose not to remain in conflict with others. His remarks added a veteran entertainer’s voice to a family and business dispute that has remained in the news for days in Nigeria’s entertainment sector.
