Africa: CAF Accepts FIFA's Apology, Renews Support for Infantino

The Confederation of African Football said its Executive Committee unanimously endorsed a joint update from FIFA President Gianni Infantino and FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström about the FIFA Forward Enterprise. The statement, published by CAF and distributed by AllAfrica, said FIFA had acknowledged mistakes in how the proposal was handled, apologized, and said the plan is no longer being pursued.
