256 LinkShield gives users a practical way to check a suspicious link before opening it: paste the link, scan instantly, and review an evidence-based trust result without creating an account.

The problem on the ground Many online risks begin with a simple action: someone receives a link through WhatsApp, SMS, email, a social media post, a QR code, or a website redirect, then has to decide whether it is safe to open. The link may claim to offer a job, grant, scholarship, mobile money promotion, charity appeal, government programme, investment opportunity, delivery message, bank verification request, or login page.
