Scotland’s 3-0 defeat by Switzerland at Hampden has prompted debate over whether head coach Sebastien Pocognoli could change his goalkeeper for the next Nations League fixtures. BBC Sport reports that Angus Gunn came under scrutiny after the first home match of Pocognoli’s tenure, with pundits and former players questioning his role in the opening and third goals.

The match was heavily influenced by Jack Hendry’s 11th-minute red card for denying Dan Ndoye a clear scoring chance. Scotland initially hoped for a reprieve when the penalty decision was downgraded after VAR review, but Ricardo Rodriguez then scored from the resulting free-kick. Nico Elvedi later finished Ndoye’s cross for the second, before Zeki Amdouni struck a shot that went through Gunn’s hands for the third.
