What the report says

The Indianapolis Star reported that NASCAR’s Brickyard 400 is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Gates are set to open at 10 a.m., followed by a track walk from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for those with the required voucher, a drivers’ brick walk at 1 p.m., and driver introductions shortly after 1 p.m.

Carson Hocevar earned the pole with a qualifying speed of 186.598 mph, with Daniel Suarez starting alongside him in second. Tyler Reddick and Ty Gibbs make up the second row, while Denny Hamlin and Michael McDowell start fifth and sixth. The field also includes Kyle Larson in 10th, Ryan Blaney in 13th, Joey Logano in 19th, Chase Elliott in 27th and Todd Gilliland in 36th.

The race is set to air on TNT, TruTV and HBO Max, with additional streaming options listed by IndyStar including Sling and Max’s in-car driver camera feature. Radio coverage is available through the IMS Radio Network, with SiriusXM listed as a streaming option. Tickets were reported to start at $45, and children 15 and younger may enter free with the purchase of an eligible adult flex or general admission ticket.

IndyStar, citing the National Weather Service in Indianapolis, said conditions are expected to be partly sunny and hot, with a high near 89 degrees and a chance of showers or thunderstorms after 5 p.m. The race also carries added stakes because Ryan Blaney and Todd Gilliland are competing for the NASCAR In-Season Challenge title, with $1 million going to the better finisher.
