What the report says

Ugandan singer Vinka staged her first major headline concert, Vinka Live and Loud, at Cricket Oval in Kampala, turning the event into a broad showcase of her career, stage presence and musical connections. Sqoop Uganda reported that the show was structured like a three-part performance, opening with a short video biography and moving through a series of high-energy sets backed by dancers, fireworks, screens and the Double Black Band.

The concert brought together several artists linked to Vinka’s career and the wider Swangz Avenue circle. Guests and collaborators included Julius Kyazze, Benon Mugumbya, Viboyo, Winnie Nwagi and the father of her child in the opening montage, while performers such as Kent, Flosso, Mudra, Fik Fameica, Spice Diana, Jackie Chandiru, Aaronx, Kataleya and Kandle, Nessim, Elijah Kitaka, John Blaq, Ava Peace, The Mith and others joined her on stage during the night. The article also noted support from Bell Lager.

According to Sqoop Uganda, the show began around 9:10 p.m. and unfolded through three acts that shifted from reflection to celebration to a full party atmosphere. Vinka performed songs from across her catalogue, including newer and older favorites, while moving around the large stage to engage the full audience. The publication said the concert underlined how much material she has built over the years and positioned the event as a long-awaited milestone in Kampala’s live music scene.
