Fox News reported that U.S. Central Command said American forces completed a 13th consecutive night of strikes against Iranian military and maritime targets on Thursday. CENTCOM said the operation ended at 9 p.m. ET and targeted military command centers, drone storage sites, communications networks, coastal surveillance locations and maritime capabilities.

According to Fox, CENTCOM described the campaign as an effort to reduce threats from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to commercial shipping and civilian mariners moving through the Strait of Hormuz. Fox, citing Reuters, reported that Brent crude rose above $100 a barrel Thursday as Middle East tensions and attacks on shipping routes added to market concerns.
