A deputy governor for security was quoted as saying four projectiles hit Chabahar and Konarak, while the semi-official Tasnim news agency said residents heard blasts on Qeshm Island. The BBC also noted that this was the second known round of US strikes on Iran within the same week, following an earlier attack on rocket launchers on Larak Island.
