'Unplayable' & 'almost perfect' - Calvert-Lewin set for England recall?

What the report says
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s strong run for Leeds United has put him back into the conversation for an England recall, according to BBC Sport Football. The striker scored and provided an assist in Leeds’ 4-1 Premier League win over Newcastle United at Elland Road on Monday night, helping his side to a convincing home victory and extending his scoring streak against Newcastle.
BBC Sport said the 29-year-old has now scored in five straight league matches for Leeds and has three goals in his past four games. That form has prompted discussion about whether England head coach Thomas Tuchel could include him in his squad for upcoming fixtures. Calvert-Lewin has previously been involved with England, but he did not make the squad for the last World Cup.
Leeds manager Daniel Farke praised the striker’s fitness, confidence and all-round impact, while former England defender Jamie Carragher described his display as close to ideal and said he was difficult to defend against. BBC Sport also noted that Calvert-Lewin’s move to Leeds, after leaving Everton, appears to have revived his career.
The result left Leeds in third place, while Newcastle endured a difficult night marked by defensive fragility and a lack of intensity. The report suggested that Calvert-Lewin’s current form could strengthen his case when Tuchel names his England squad later in the week.
