MacRumors reported Saturday that Apple’s week was led by plans for a new device financing and leasing option, additional price increases, fresh software betas and new Mac rumors. Citing Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the site said Apple and Klarna are expected to launch an “Apple Upgrade” program in the U.S. on Tuesday, July 28. The reported program would cover most iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch models, with 24-month terms for iPhones and Apple Watches and 36-month terms for iPads and Macs.

According to the MacRumors recap, customers in the new program would be able to pay off devices early, move to a newer model before the term ends, or either keep or return the device at the end of the agreement. MacRumors said Apple would wind down its existing iPhone Upgrade Program as part of the shift, which would broaden the upgrade-style financing approach beyond the iPhone.

The publication also noted that Apple Music prices have increased across tiers, pushing Apple One bundle prices higher as well. The recap said those moves followed earlier Mac and iPad price increases, while Apple also raised iPhone prices in Japan by up to 11% and increased iCloud+ prices in eight countries.

Other items in the roundup included Apple’s fourth iOS 27 developer beta and second public beta, new recovery-screen options in iOS 27, and code references that MacRumors said could point to a foldable iPhone with multiple internal batteries. The site also relayed a Bloomberg report that Apple is preparing updates across its Mac lineup over the next two years, beginning with an entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro refresh and new iMacs this fall.
