Three Taycans Weren’t Enough, So He Had Porsche Build Him A Special Fourth - Carscoops

CarScoops reports that Porsche has completed a highly customized Taycan Turbo GT for a buyer in Switzerland who already owned three Taycans. The project was handled through Porsche’s Sonderwunsch, or “special wishes,” personalization program, with the customer working through Porsche Centre Lugano and meeting with company customization specialists before the car was built.

The car is finished in Paint-to-Sample Nordic Gold Metallic, a Porsche color linked by CarScoops to the 997-generation 911 and inspired by an earlier gold shade from the 1970s. The exterior pairs the gold paint with high-gloss black details on areas including the mirrors, B-pillars and rear lip spoiler, along with 21-inch satin black forged wheels.

Inside, the Taycan Turbo GT receives a more understated set of changes. CarScoops says the cabin combines Black/Slate Grey Pepita fabric, Pebble Grey leather and black Race-Tex, with Crayon contrast stitching and embroidered Turbo GT branding. Additional personalized touches include a Sport Chrono clock ring painted to match the exterior, light beige seat belts and a Mojave Beige 12 o’clock marker on the steering wheel.

The build is notable because Porsche more often publicizes Sonderwunsch work on 911 models, while this commission shows the program being applied extensively to the all-electric Taycan. CarScoops quoted Porsche executive Alexander Fabig as saying such a wide-ranging Taycan customization was new ground for the company, underscoring how luxury automakers are using factory-backed personalization to appeal to high-end EV buyers.
