Swansea City are set to complete a season-long loan move for Manchester City winger Jeremy Monga, with the 17-year-old due to travel for a medical before the transfer deadline, BBC Sport reports. The Championship club have also agreed to let Finland international Leo Walta leave on loan, with Major League Soccer side Los Angeles expected to be his destination.

BBC Sport says Monga joined Manchester City earlier this summer after developing at Leicester City, where he made his senior debut as a 15-year-old and featured regularly in the Championship last season. His move to Swansea would add another wide option for manager Vitor Matos, as the club look to keep strengthening a squad that has started the league campaign unbeaten.

Walta was left out of Swansea’s matchday squad for Saturday’s win at Derby County and is now set for a temporary switch away. He initially arrived on loan from Sirius and later signed permanently, but has found first-team opportunities limited so far this season. Swansea have already added several midfield and attacking options in recent months, and are also closing in on Huddersfield Town midfielder Tom Iorpenda.
