PokeBeach reported that secret rare cards from the Japanese Pokémon Trading Card Game set “Storm Emeralda” have begun appearing on social media through fan posts ahead of the set’s scheduled release on Friday, July 31. The site said the regular set list had already been disclosed the previous week and published a numbered secret rare lineup running from #077 through #113.

The revealed cards include illustration and special versions of Pokémon and Trainer cards such as Masquerain, Growlithe, Magmortar, Kyogre, Electivire, Groudon, Altaria, Kecleon, Mega Golisopod ex, Heat Rotom ex, Wishiwashi ex, Raikou ex, Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex, Mega Rayquaza ex, Talonflame ex, Aarune, Zinnia’s Trust, Tate & Liza’s Training, and several special Energy cards. PokeBeach highlighted that the Special Illustration Rare version of Mega Rayquaza ex was drawn by Kazuki Minami, identified by the site as the winner of the 2024 Pokémon TCG Illustration Contest.

According to PokeBeach, cards from “Storm Emeralda” are expected to be included in the English-language “Delta Reign” set, listed for release on November 6. The report also placed the set within Japan’s upcoming Pokémon TCG calendar, alongside July 31 “MEGA Starter Set ex Decks,” several 30th Celebration products in September and October, a November “Special Deck Set,” and later releases including “Aura Seeker” and a likely High Class Pack set called “MEGA x MEGA Parade.”
