Stecia Mayanja says she has moved on from her past relationship

What the report says
Ugandan singer Stecia Mayanja has said she has no intention of returning to a former relationship with fellow musician Ronald Kitaka, according to Sqoop Uganda. In the interview, she said she has moved on and is now concentrating on raising her children and maintaining her current marriage.
Stecia said she believes people should accept when a relationship has ended instead of repeatedly revisiting former partners. She also said she still respects Kitaka, but sees their lives as having taken different directions. The publisher reported that she contrasted their past, saying he knew her when she was much younger, while she is now focused on a different stage of life.
She also described herself as happily married and said she does not want discussions about her past to affect her present relationship. In her comments, she urged men to value their partners while they are still together rather than trying to reconnect after a breakup.
The remarks fit into a broader pattern often seen in celebrity interviews, where public figures use personal experiences to comment on relationships and family life. In this case, Sqoop Uganda framed Stecia’s message as one of closure: she is acknowledging her past while making clear that she does not want to return to it.
