The central figure was Yaxel Lendeborg, Golden State’s No. 11 overall draft pick. According to NBC Sports Bay Area, Lendeborg had 21 points and 10 rebounds in the title game, including several key fourth-quarter baskets after the Warriors had trailed by 12. He was later named Las Vegas NBA Summer League MVP after averaging 14.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists over six games, following a productive showing in the California Classic.
