Spurs in talks to sign Man City's Savinho and Marmoush

What the report says
Tottenham Hotspur are in talks with Manchester City over a possible double move for forwards Savinho and Omar Marmoush, according to BBC Sport. The report says discussions between the clubs are continuing but no agreement has been reached yet. Spurs have tracked Savinho for some time, after the Brazilian winger chose to stay at City previously, while Marmoush has also emerged as a target amid uncertainty over his role.
BBC Sport notes that Savinho, 22, joined City from Troyes in 2024 and made limited Premier League starts last season. Marmoush, 27, arrived from Frankfurt in a move reported at £59m and, although he fell out of favour at points, still contributed goals across all competitions. The article says City would expect a substantial profit if both players were sold, but their asking price has not been made public.
For Tottenham, the potential deals fit a broader effort to strengthen the squad in attack. The club are also linked with Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo, though BBC Sport says it is unclear whether Spurs could fund multiple forward signings. The timing is significant because the Premier League season is about to begin, with Tottenham starting at Brentford and City at home to Bournemouth.
