Spurs agree £75m deal to sign Man City's Savinho

What the report says
Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a £75m transfer deal to sign Manchester City winger Savinho, with up to £10m more in add-ons, according to BBC Sport Football. The 22-year-old is due to have a medical before completing a long-term move to north London.
BBC Sport reports that the transfer has been in discussion for more than a year. Spurs tried to sign the Brazilian last summer, but he stayed at City. His opportunities at the Etihad were limited last season, when he made only seven Premier League starts under Pep Guardiola.
The move adds to a major summer of spending for Tottenham, who have already brought in Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, according to the report. BBC Sport said Spurs’ summer outlay will move beyond £300m once Savinho’s deal is completed, although the club has also raised significant funds through player sales. The article adds that Tottenham are still exploring further attacking options, with talks over City forward Omar Marmoush said to be progressing and interest remaining in Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo.
The transfer is significant because it strengthens Tottenham’s attack ahead of the new Premier League season while further reshaping Manchester City’s squad. Tottenham begin their league campaign at Brentford, while City open at home to Bournemouth.
