Speke Resort Munyonyo Unveils Indian Spice Trail Dining Experience at Nyanja/Lake Terrace This August

What the report says
Speke Resort Munyonyo has introduced a month-long Indian Spice Trail dining promotion at its Nyanja/Lake Terrace Restaurant in Kampala, according to Watchdog Uganda. The special menu is set to run through August 2026 and features a selection of Indian à la carte dishes meant to highlight regional flavours, spices and traditional recipes.
The resort says the dining experience is being staged at its lakeside venue overlooking Lake Victoria, with both indoor and open-air terrace seating available. Nyanja/Lake Terrace already serves multiple cuisines, including continental, African and Indian dishes, and continues to operate with extended hours and a smart-casual dress code. In addition to the food promotion, the property is also keeping its Friday Band Nights, with live music scheduled every Friday from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Watchdog Uganda also notes that Speke Resort Munyonyo remains one of Uganda’s better-known luxury hospitality destinations, located about 12 kilometres from Kampala’s city centre and roughly 42 kilometres from Entebbe International Airport. The resort’s broader facilities include guest rooms, conference space, several restaurants and bars, swimming pools, a spa and leisure activities.
The promotion appears designed to attract both hotel guests and local diners looking for a themed culinary outing by the lake. The resort is encouraging advance reservations for busy evenings.
