Sony Confirms PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for August 2026, Headlined by Dying Light 2: Stay Human - IGN

IGN reported that Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus monthly games lineup for August 2026, led by Dying Light 2: Stay Human: Reloaded Edition. According to the report, the games will be available to subscribers from Tuesday, August 4, through Monday, August 31, with Dying Light 2 offered on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

The Techland sequel is a post-apocalyptic action-survival game built around first-person parkour, melee combat and exploration in a zombie-filled city. Players take on the role of Aiden Caldwell, and the game also supports cooperative play for up to four players. IGN noted its earlier review gave Dying Light 2 a 7/10, praising the stories found in its streets while criticizing the main plot and protagonist.

Two additional games are included in the August lineup. Big Walk, from the team behind Untitled Goose Game, is described as a cooperative multiplayer adventure centered on communication, teamwork, puzzles and exploration. Signalis brings a darker contrast, offering psychological survival horror with puzzles, combat, dystopian environments and a retro-tech visual style.

IGN also reported that PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive access to a Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls pack beginning August 6. The add-on, distributed through the PlayStation Store, includes five character-inspired avatars and in-game result screen poses featuring a broader roster. The pack is expected to remain available to Plus members for 12 months. The announcement matters for subscribers because it sets the limited-time catalog of claimable August titles and related bonus content.
