Awful Announcing reports that SiriusXM is introducing a sports-focused subscription called SiriusXM Sports Pass, aimed at listeners who want the company’s live sports and sports-talk programming without buying a broader package. The new plan is scheduled to launch Sept. 1 and will be offered to new U.S. subscribers for $5 per month or $49 per year.

According to the report, the package will include SiriusXM’s full sports lineup, including broadcasts of every NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL game carried by the service. It will also feature NASCAR, IndyCar and Formula 1 race coverage, PGA Tour events and golf majors, WWE Premium Live Events and other sports programming.

The channel lineup cited by Awful Announcing includes league and sport-specific stations such as NFL Radio, MLB Network Radio, SiriusXM NBA Radio, NHL Network Radio, NASCAR Radio, INDYCAR Nation, F1 on SiriusXM, College Sports Radio, conference-branded college channels, PGA TOUR Radio, SiriusXM FC and WWE Radio. The offering also includes national sports media brands such as ESPN Radio, Fox Sports on SiriusXM, NBC Sports Radio, Westwood One Sports and VSiN, along with selected local sports radio stations.

SiriusXM CEO Jennifer Witz said in a company statement, as reported by Awful Announcing, that the product is meant to make SiriusXM a central audio destination for sports fans by combining live events, hometown voices and national commentary in one subscription. The Sports Pass joins other SiriusXM tiers, including music-only, all-access, and news, talk and sports plans.
