Seven killed in Gaza as Israeli strike ‘destroys’ aid supply warehouse

Israeli strikes in Gaza killed at least seven Palestinians on Tuesday, according to local medical sources cited by Al Jazeera, as violence continued despite a ceasefire that took effect last October. Reported deaths included three people killed in a strike on a house in Beit Lahiya near Kamal Adwan Hospital, one man killed in a drone strike in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, and three others who later died from wounds sustained in earlier raids.

Al Jazeera also reported that an overnight strike destroyed a warehouse in Gaza storing nutrition supplies for children, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers. The warehouse belonged to Ard El Insan, a local aid group working with Medical Aid for Palestinians. MAP said the blast collapsed much of the building and damaged the stock, leaving the supplies unfit for use. The loss was described by aid workers as a serious setback for ongoing humanitarian support in the enclave.

Separately, Gaza’s Health Ministry warned of a “complete collapse of the basic necessities of life” amid worsening oxygen shortages. Director-General Dr Munir al-Bursh said only 12 oxygen stations remained operational out of about 34, raising concerns for patients in hospitals. Al Jazeera framed the attacks as part of continued violations of the ceasefire, and noted that the reported escalation came despite calls from US President Donald Trump for Israel to stop striking Gaza.
