The suspect is identified as Warom Joseph, a supervisor with Securex Private Security Company, while the guard involved is Ayub Mbadi, who was also working for Securex.

Police preliminary findings indicate that Mbadi had been detained by Warom after being accused of stealing scrap materials from the sugar factory.
