NHL News, citing a Buffalo Sabres announcement on Sabres.com, reported that DAZN will become the exclusive direct-to-consumer streaming destination for MSG Networks and YES Network during the 2026-27 NHL and NBA seasons. For Sabres fans, that means a new streaming option for live Buffalo games beginning with the 2026-27 season, available to subscribers within the team’s broadcast territory.

According to the team, eligible subscribers will be able to watch live Sabres games along with continuous feeds of MSG, MSG Sportsnet and YES Network. The offering is also set to include games involving other teams carried by those networks, including the NBA’s New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets and MLB’s New York Yankees. The Sabres said DAZN’s service will include live and on-demand access, highlights, original programming, multi-device streaming and interactive features such as chats, polls and games.

The current Gotham Sports App will continue operating for existing users while MSG and YES prepare to move users to DAZN during the season. The team said additional details, including pricing and the exact timing of the migration, will be provided later.

The change matters for regional sports viewers because it shifts the direct streaming home for Sabres games tied to MSG Networks, while preserving other viewing routes. The Sabres said fans in the local broadcast market can still watch through MSG on cable providers or through Fubo, and out-of-market viewers can continue using ESPN+.
