Kyiv city authorities said two residential buildings were damaged in early morning air raids, while Ukraine’s emergency service reported drone strikes in the capital and in the nearby Boryspil and Fastiv districts. An air raid alert warned residents to take shelter from a drone threat. Al Jazeera also reported that Russian regional authorities said a Ukrainian drone attack injured several people in Saratov, though the number of casualties from both sides was not confirmed.

The temporary pause in strikes had been announced during the American diplomatic visits and was described by Kremlin-linked sources as ending Monday evening local time. Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov called the Moscow talks useful, while Witkoff said after meeting President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that the discussions were substantive and encouraging.
