Raskin 'very happy' at Rangers but unsure about January

What the report says
Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin has said he is content at the Scottish club but cannot predict whether his future will be settled when the January transfer window opens. BBC Sport reported that the Belgium international, 25, made the comments after scoring his first goal of the season in Rangers’ 2-2 draw with Dundee last weekend, having recently been back in the starting line-up.
The report said Raskin had been linked with a move in the summer and was absent from some matches during that period, when a possible transfer was being discussed. Since arriving at Rangers in January 2023, he has made more than 150 appearances and earned 22 senior caps for Belgium. He said he was pleased to be at Rangers and felt the club had played an important role in his progress to the national team.
Raskin also indicated that he was not forcing any decision and that he is focused on the games ahead. He credited the manager for supporting him and said there is time before January to see how things develop. BBC Sport also noted that any discussion over a contract extension would be a matter for the club rather than the player. The situation matters because it leaves open the question of whether a key first-team midfielder will remain at Ibrox beyond the winter window.
