Rangers remain in talks for Brighton winger Cozier-Duberry - gossip

What the report says
Rangers are still in discussions with Brighton & Hove Albion over winger Amario Cozier-Duberry, according to BBC Sport’s Scottish football gossip roundup. The report says Rangers had already seen an earlier bid turned down, but talks are continuing as they look to add more attacking options.
The same roundup says Celtic have agreed a deal for Hajduk Split and Canada midfielder Niko Sigur, although it notes Genk have also entered the race and have reportedly made a bid of €4m. BBC Sport also says Celtic are targeting Wolves goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, while Rangers have identified Rodez striker Ibrahima Balde as another possible signing.
Other names linked in the gossip column include Rangers winger Ross McCausland, who is said to be a target for Turkish side Bursaspor, and Aberdeen striker Kusini Yengi, who is reported to be heading back to Japan on loan with Sanfrecce Hiroshima. Raith Rovers are also mentioned as having agreed a deal for St Johnstone defender Jack Baird, although personal terms are still to be finalised.
As a round-up of transfer talk, the item reflects the usual mid-window movement around Scottish clubs, with Rangers and Celtic both being connected to players in several positions as they continue squad planning.
