PSV winger Driouech at Ibrox before expected Rangers move

PSV Eindhoven winger Couhaib Driouech is at Ibrox to watch Rangers’ Scottish Premiership match against Jagiellonia Bialystok while a transfer to the Glasgow club is being finalized, according to BBC Sport Football. The 24-year-old Moroccan is expected to complete the move on Friday, which would make him Rangers’ 10th signing of the summer.

BBC Sport reports that Driouech mainly plays on the left wing and contributed nine goals and eight assists in 40 appearances last season. He was used more often as a substitute at PSV, including limited starts in the Champions League and frequent bench appearances in the Eredivisie. Before joining PSV in 2024, he spent three seasons with Excelsior and had earlier come through the youth system at Heerenveen.

The reported move fits into a broader Rangers rebuild under chairman Andrew Cavenagh, who said earlier in the week that more signings could still arrive and that some players may also leave. The club has already added another winger, Daisuke Yokota, and sold midfielder Mohamed Diomande to Turkish side Corum.

BBC Sport also notes that Driouech has represented Morocco at Under-23 level and was part of the squad that won the Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations. His arrival would add pace and width to Rangers as they continue their summer overhaul.
