Pokemon Pokopia DLC – Part 1, Bubbly Basin release date announced - Nintendo Everything

What the report says
Nintendo Everything reports that the first paid DLC installment for Pokemon Pokopia’s Expansion Pass, titled Bubbly Basin, is scheduled to launch on August 5, 2026. The site published the update on July 28, noting that the content is for Pokemon Pokopia on Nintendo Switch 2.
According to the report, Bubbly Basin adds an underwater town to the game. The DLC will let players meet Pokemon that live under the sea, collect furniture themed around the ocean floor, and obtain new outfits for Ditto, the game’s playable character. Nintendo Everything also says the Expansion Pass will continue after this release: Part 2 is planned for late 2026 with additional features, while Part 3 is expected in 2027 and will include another new town.
The report also points to a free 2.0 update planned for next month. That update is set to add Dive as a new move, giving Ditto the ability to enter and explore underwater areas for the first time, which appears to connect with the broader aquatic focus of Bubbly Basin.
For context, Nintendo Everything describes Pokemon Pokopia as a crafting, building and gardening-focused Pokemon game in which a Ditto wakes in a withered world where humans have vanished and works to restore it alongside Pokemon companions. As players rebuild, Pokemon can teach useful moves, help construct homes, and join the growing settlement.
