Pokemon GO Hub reports that a global raid make-up event is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2026, after some areas experienced raid problems during Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global. According to the site, players encountered technical issues when trying to join raid battles, leaving some unable to participate. Scopely Explore also temporarily disabled Team GO Rocket during the event to help stabilize play; Pokemon GO Hub says Team GO Rocket has since been restored.

The make-up event is set to run from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time worldwide. Pokemon GO Hub says the plan was initially limited to trainers in certain time zones, but was later expanded globally. Raid bosses from the original event are due to return, including Mega Mewtwo Y in Super Mega Raids, as well as rotating five-star and Mega Raid lineups tied to the event’s habitat schedule.

Event bonuses reported by Pokemon GO Hub include no Remote Raid limit from Saturday, July 25, at 1:00 p.m. PDT through Sunday, July 26, at 12:00 p.m. PDT, up to 12 free Raid Passes per day from Gym Photo Discs, stronger Premier Balls after raids, and a Link Charge cap increase to 2,000. Pokémon caught from five-star, Mega and Super Mega Raids may also have Special Backgrounds, with an added visual effect for a Mega Evolved Mewtwo that has one.

The make-up matters because GO Fest raids are a major draw for players seeking limited appearances, high-value bosses and event-specific rewards. Trainers who bought the Road of Legends Deluxe Pass are also listed as receiving added raid XP, Candy and Candy XL rewards during the make-up period.
