Plane crashes into house killing one as vid shows tail sticking out roof - the-sun.com

What the report says
The Sun reported that a small plane crashed into a two-storey family home in northern Germany, near Bremen in Lower Saxony, leaving one person dead. Video and photos described by the outlet showed the aircraft lodged in the roof, with its tail visible and a large opening torn into the building. The report said it was not yet clear whether the person killed was the pilot.
Emergency crews responded to the residential street after a loud impact was heard. According to The Sun, police were searching for another person believed to have been on board, using drones as part of the operation. Firefighters were working from a crane because the home could not be safely accessed from the ground floor, and officials were concerned the structure could collapse.
The family who lived in the house were not inside at the time, the outlet reported. Residents within roughly 300 feet were evacuated, power was cut on the affected street, and air traffic in the Ganderkesee area was suspended while drones were operating. A crisis intervention team was also sent to support witnesses and others close to the crash site.
The Sun said flight data indicated the aircraft had departed from an airport on the outskirts of Bremen shortly before it came down. The plane was identified in the report as a single-engine, four-seat Tecnam light aircraft. The article also noted a separate crash in western Germany a year earlier in which two people died after a plane struck a house near Dusseldorf.
