Pearl Magic to live-broadcast Miss World 2026 Finale this Saturday

What the report says
The Observer reports that Pearl Magic will carry a live broadcast of the Miss World 2026 grand finale for Ugandan viewers this Saturday, September 5, at 3:00 p.m. The event is taking place in Vietnam and will feature contestants from around the world competing in a pageant that combines beauty, intelligence, culture, fashion and advocacy.
For Uganda, the main focus is Miss Uganda 2025, Trivia Elle Muhoza, who is representing the country on the global stage. The article says she is among six African finalists in the Beauty With A Purpose category, which highlights social-impact projects tied to the competition.
Muhoza’s project, called Wings Of Hope, is aimed at supporting single mothers and survivors of gender-based violence through vocational training, skills development and mentorship. According to the report, this makes her performance significant not only as a national entry in the contest, but also as a platform for her advocacy work.
Colin Asiimwe, head of marketing at MultiChoice Uganda, said the broadcast is intended to help local audiences watch and support Ugandan talent in a major international entertainment event. The planned telecast gives viewers in Uganda a way to follow the finale and the country’s representative as the competition concludes.
