Parliament to pay special tribute to King Oyo on Thursday

Parliament is scheduled to hold a special sitting on Thursday to pay tribute to the late Tooro King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, who died last week at age 34, according to Nile Post. The tribute motion is listed in the Order Paper for the 26th Sitting of the First Meeting of the First Session of the 12th Parliament, with the session set for September 3, 2026, at 2 p.m. in Kampala.
